Lindy Weaver of Lindy Weaver Design Associates in Cos Cob, Connecticut partnered with co-entrant Alicia Orrick of Orrick and Company in Greenwich, Connecticut in winning a regional award in the 2013 Sub-Zero and Wolf design contest.
Their uber-white kitchen highlights what excellent design and great proportion can do—rake in awards! Lindy and Alicia specified a beautiful, hand-brushed milk paint, Premier’s Weatherburne door style, and a Mizuki hood that adds an element of surprise. The vertical columns help define the space, and the Sub-Zero mirrored cabinetry creates a classic symmetry.
Clarke, the New England distributor of Sub-Zero and Wolf appliances, already recognized this kitchen earlier in 2013. In the Clarke Design Contest, Lindy and Alicia were handed a First Place award in the Traditional Kitchen catagory. Now they’ve added the Sub-Zero and Wolf accolades as a New England Regional winner—one of only six finalists from the northeast. Winning, it seems, comes naturally for this dynamic duo!
